2026 Fall Equinox Gala Recap
Balance of the Seventh Generation: Harvesting Power, Planting the Future
Thank You for an Unforgettable Evening!
Our hearts are still overflowing. Thank you to everyone who gathered with Spirit of the Sun at the Denver Botanic Gardens on September 24th for the 2026 Fall Equinox Gala. Sharing a meal, honoring our ancestors, and celebrating the strength of our people was a profound reminder of the vibrant resilience of this community. Together, we officially launched our 2026 Campaign for Indigenous Self-Determination, planting the seeds for a future grounded in true rematriation and collective healing.

Honoring Our Circle
An evening this beautiful is only possible because of the collective energy of our community. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped bring this vision to life:
-
To Our Guests: Thank you for showing up, breaking bread with us, and bringing such beautiful, grounding energy to the space.
-
To Our Performers & Speakers: Thank you for sharing your gifts, your art, and your powerful cultural expressions. You filled the room with life.
-
To Our Volunteers: You are the backbone of this work. Thank you for your tireless dedication to ensuring every detail ran beautifully and every guest felt welcomed.
-
To Our Sponsors & Donors: Your profound generosity is actively breathing life into our mission. Thank you for investing in Indigenous leadership and our 100-Year Vision.
Planting the Future: Our 100-Year Vision
The Gala was a beautiful celebration, but our work is just beginning. We are actively moving toward our $2,000,000 goal to secure land for rematriation, restore our bison herd, and build the Seven Generations Seed Vault. The funds raised at the Gala are the foundation of this legacy, ensuring that future generations have the land, resources, and sovereignty necessary to thrive.
If you were unable to attend or feel moved to continue supporting this vital, intergenerational work, we invite you to make a contribution today. Every gift helps us secure a sustainable future for the next seven generations.
